Piper’s life took an instantaneous shift when she discovered yoga – with zero doubts, she committed to not only a life-long practice, but also a new career. Yoga was her catalyst to discover a joy untouched by circumstance and was called to use the blueprint of yoga to serve others. She set out to combine yoga, her craze of travel and her authentic concern for the matters of the human heart.
Nearly a decade later, thousands of hours teaching in both the Pacific Northwest and around the world, having provided consultation for numerous studios and certified hundreds of teachers – she is the founder and academic director of Global Soul Yoga. Her classes and training programs are dynamic, challenging and uplifting and she encourages us to live more globally and soulfully.
Nicole Kuro, founder of Get Hot Yoga, developed a passion for health and holistic living from a very young age. Coming from several generations of Chiropractic doctors, she has been deeply rooted in this way of life & drawn to all things related since she can remember.
In early 2009 Nicole took a leap of faith, quit her 9-5 job and completed her first 200 hour yoga teacher training with Ali Valdez, founder of Sattva Yoga.
At that time yoga studios were few and far between and she immediately knew she wanted to bring yoga to the place closest to her heart, where she was raised…Her hometown of Maple Valley! She wanted to make this lifestyle accessible to her own community and give the surrounding residents the opportunity to use yoga as their outlet in life too!
In November, 2010 Get Hot Yoga opened it’s doors! Since then Get Hot Yoga has expanded and opened their second location in Bonney Lake.
